What Does the Procedure Entail?
Cheek augmentation can be performed as one procedure or be combined with other facial procedures, such as a Natural Face™ Lift, rhinoplasty, or eyelid surgery. Some patients may obtain cheek augmentation along with a chin implant.
After the surgeon selects the right implant for your facial framework and anatomy, he’ll make an incision. Implants may be made of either polyethylene or a solid silicone. An incision is usually placed inside the mouth before the implant is affixed to the soft tissue or cheekbone. Then, the incision is sutured shut.
