Cheek Augmentation in Syracuse, Rochester, and Ithaca, NY
Double board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Sang W. Kim of the Natural Face™ Clinics, provide cheek augmentation for patients residing in the Syracuse metropolitan area and Central New York area including Ithaca and Rochester.
What Is Cheek Augmentation?
Cheek augmentation is designed to add fullness and volume to a gaunt face or to provide a more youthful appearance. The cheek implants used for cheek augmentation come in several shapes and sizes. Therefore, implants can be configured to the individual patient’s facial needs. They can be used to produce a fuller, softer face or to add volume to an aging face.
This patient underwent cheek implant combined with face lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty to remove the nasal hump, and laser skin resurfacing
Who Are the Best Candidates for Cheek Augmentation Surgery?
Healthy individuals who desire to achieve more volume in their face or who wish to look younger are good candidates for a cheek augmentation procedure.
What Does the Procedure Entail?
Cheek augmentation can be performed as one procedure or be combined with other facial procedures, such as a Natural Face™ Lift, rhinoplasty, or eyelid surgery. Some patients may obtain cheek augmentation along with a chin implant.
After the surgeon selects the right implant for your facial framework and anatomy, he’ll make an incision. Implants may be made of either polyethylene or a solid silicone. An incision is usually placed inside the mouth before the implant is affixed to the soft tissue or cheekbone. Then, the incision is sutured shut.
How Long Does the Surgery Take?
Usually, the procedure takes no longer than 45 minutes to perform.
How Long Does Recovery Take?
Patients are generally ready to resume everyday activities a day after the surgery. Even so, the doctor will usually recommend that you rest. While recuperating, he may prescribe a medicine to alleviate any discomfort and an antibiotic to lessen the chance of infection.
How Much Does a Cheek Augmentation Cost in Syracuse?
The costs involved with a Natural Face™ procedure can vary depending on the extent of the treatment necessary to achieve optimum results. Having our own private on-site surgical facility allows our patients to save money by including all the before and after care, operating room costs, and the local anesthetic fees together.
