Direct Neck Lift Before and After Pictures in Syracuse and Ithaca, NY
This patient came to see me hoping to improve the appearance of her neck area. She had very heavy neck, often hereditary in nature, and I felt that conventional lift technique alone would not be able to achieve the result she was looking for. More than just laxity of the neck, she had significant fullness of deep tissue within the neck that was prolapsing through the thin sheet of outer neck muscle. She underwent direct neck lift (also called, direct submentoplasty) with me. While this is a very powerful technique, its risk includes a visible vertical line scar in front of the neck. The photos on the right were taken 2 months after the procedure.
